Samuel Ajose, an aspirant for the Lagos State governorship under the All Progressives Congress (APC) has obtained the party’s expression of interest and nomination forms worth ₦50 million.
Ajose secured the forms in Abuja shortly after the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), alongside Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other party leaders, endorsed Deputy Governor Dr Obafemi Hamzat as the preferred candidate for the APC ticket.
Despite the consensus move, Ajose maintained that his ambition is driven by a commitment to service and a vision for inclusive development across Lagos State.
In a statement shared via his verified X handle, he said: “I have officially picked up my nomination and expression of interest forms, taking a definitive step forward in my aspiration to serve as Governor of Lagos State on the platform of our great party, the APC.”
