Mo’Afrique Expands with New Brand and Garment Factory

Mo’Afrique has announced its expansion into the mass-market segment with the launch of a high-volume fashion brand, Modish. It will also commission a garment manufacturing facility.

The company said both projects would be officially unveiled on 26 April 2026, marking what it described as a new phase for Africa’s fashion industry.

The move positions the fashion house beyond its design roots into large-scale production. According to the firm, Modish is designed to bridge the gap between premium fashion aesthetics and scalable production, targeting corporates and institutions that require consistent, high-quality apparel in large volumes.

The company stated that the brand would translate its design expertise into a production-driven model capable of meeting the needs of Africa’s growing workforce and institutional clients.

It added that the debut line, Modish Formals, would focus on corporate wear, combining tailored designs with industrial-scale production to deliver both style and efficiency.

Mo’Afrique also disclosed that the newly established garment factory would serve as the backbone of its expansion, producing uniforms for military and paramilitary organisations, corporate bodies, and other institutions.

The firm said the facility would enable it to meet both public and private sector demand while strengthening local manufacturing capacity.

Chief Executive Officer of Modish Formals, Omobolanle Olawole, said the expansion was driven by sustained demand from corporate clients.

She said, “This expansion is a direct response to market demand. Over the years, our corporate clients have consistently required more than bespoke fashion; they need structured, high-quality garments that reflect their brand identity and can be delivered at scale. Modish is our answer to that need.”

The company noted that Modish, as a subsidiary of the M3 Group, would leverage design innovation and production efficiency to establish a strong presence in Nigeria’s bulk garment industry.

Mo’Afrique, founded in 2016, has built its reputation on blending African heritage with contemporary fashion. It said the launch of Modish signals its entry into industrial-scale garment production, extending its focus on quality and craftsmanship to the mass market.
