Wike-Led PDP Fixes Presidential Form At N51m


The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has fixed the presidential nomination fee for the 2027 general elections at N51 million.

In the activities and schedule of the 2027 general elections signed by the National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, the party fixed the cost for the expression of interest fee at N1 million.

According to the statement, the governorship nomination fee goes for N20 million and also N1 million for the expression of interest.

The statement added that senatorial and House of Representatives nomination fees are N5 million and N3 million, respectively, while the nomination fee for the state House of Representatives is N2 million.

The expression of interest fee is still N1 million.

PDP disclosed that the presidential primary for the election of its candidate for the 2027 presidential election is on May 17 and 18.

The governorship election is on May 27, while senatorial and House of Representatives primaries will be held on May 23 and 21, respectively and May 25 for the state House of Assembly.
