Chelsea Open To Garnacho Exit After 8 Months

There are strong indications that Chelsea could offload Alejandro Garnacho just eight months after completing his £40 million move from Manchester United, with reports suggesting the club is already reconsidering his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.

According to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, senior Chelsea officials believe the winger’s spell in West London “is not working out” as expected.

Garnacho’s arrival last summer was widely viewed as a major statement signing. The 21-year-old was regarded as one of Manchester United’s most exciting young talents and was expected to add pace, creativity, and direct attacking threat to Chelsea’s frontline.

However, while he has scored eight goals in all competitions, his Premier League output has been limited to just one goal, falling short of expectations.

Manager Liam Rosenior has often opted for Pedro Neto on the left flank, which has pushed Garnacho further down the pecking order in important matches.

Despite still having six years left on his contract, Chelsea are now reportedly open to considering offers for the Argentine winger as they reassess his role in the squad.
