Her remains were later discovered in September 2025 inside a vehicle linked to the singer after officials received complaints about a strong odor at a Hollywood tow yard.

Investigators believe the teenager may have died several weeks before her body was found. However, officials have not yet announced the exact cause of death, as the case is still under investigation.

The singer is currently being held without bail, and prosecutors are expected to review the case to determine whether formal murder charges will be filed. His representatives previously stated that he has been cooperating with authorities.
