Ogun Police Inspect CBT Centres, Assure Candidates Of Tight Security


 

As the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations commence, the Ogun State Police Command as part of its security architecture put in place to ensure safety of candidates conducted an inspection of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the state.

The inspection was led by the Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Bolanle Muritala on Friday.

The visit was focused on assessing the level of security deployment at various CBT centres, with particular emphasis on the safety and protection of students during the examination period.

According to the Police, the exercise reflects its commitment to providing a secure, calm, and conducive environment for candidates to write their examinations without fear or intimidation.

Ojajuni expressed satisfaction with the professionalism and conduct of officers deployed to the centres, noting that student safety remains a top priority for the Command.

He further assured parents, guardians, and other stakeholders of adequate security coverage throughout the examination period.

Candidates were also advised to remain orderly and cooperate with security personnel to ensure a smooth and hitch-free exercise.
