The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State, on Thursday honoured Chief Clement Ekong of the New Telegraph newspaper for his Outstanding Performance and Productivity in Reportage.
Chief Clement Ekong was among the 13 recipients of the award, which came after a critical assessment of the performance of the 39-man chapel.
Presenting the award to Ekong, the Chairman of Correspondents’ Chapel, Ibrahim Kado thanked Ekong and other recipients for doing the chapel proud urging them to maintain the tempo.
He urged others also to emulate Ekong and Co so that they will also feature in subsequent awards from the chapel.
