Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has linked the achievements recorded so far by his administration to the support received from traditional rulers in the state.
The governor stated this at the first statutory meeting of the Ogun State Council of Obas, which took place at the Obas Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, describing the forum as a vital platform for collective deliberation, reflection and shared responsibility.
He underscored the strategic and sacred role of traditional rulers in governance, noting that as custodians of cultural heritages, they serve as a critical bridge between the government and the people.
The governor emphasised that traditional rulers always play a central role in shaping societal values, guiding conduct and maintaining social order, adding that his administration’s achievements were largely attributable to the support and cooperation of royal fathers across the State.
