Federal Poly Oko Emerges Winner Of Hybrid Quiz Competition


Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has emerged the winner of the hybrid quiz competition organised by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) for all tertiary institutions in the southeast zone that offer Estate Management and Valuation.

The Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria is the federal government-approved regulatory board that regulates the practice of estate surveying and valuation in Nigeria by granting registration license (stamp and seal) to qualified graduates of Estate Management and Valuation for private practice nationwide.

The quiz competition is in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the board, which is scheduled for April. Each participating institution in the quiz competition for the Southeast Zone was represented by two students.

Federal Polytechnic, Oko, was represented by Mr Nwaneri Gideon Chigozie and Miss Elliot Faith Tonye, both of the Estate Management Department.

At the end of the southeast quiz competition, which was held on 24th March, 2026, the representatives of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, beat other institutions to clinch the first position, and will consequently represent the zone at the grand finale in Lagos on 8th April, 2026.
