Celine Dion Returns To Stage After Health Battle


Award-winning Canadian singer and entrepreneur Celine Dion, has announced her return to live performance, four years after being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, which has sidelined her from music.

The 58-year-old powerhouse, who made this announcement on Tuesday, revealed plans for a brief 10-night residency at the Paris La Défense Arena in September and October 2026

Speaking in a video message titled “The Best Gift of My Life,” the singer said she feels healthier and is eager to perform again.

Dion thanked her fans for their support during her hiatus.

The statement, which was delivered on her birthday, represents a significant turning point in her healing process after her diagnosis in 2022, which compelled her to give up performing and postpone her Courage World Tour.

“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again,” she said.

“I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good.”

This return follows her emotional 2024 documentary and her breathtaking performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, signalling that her voice remains a force of nature despite her health struggles.
