LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Posts N1.01bn Profit for 2025


LivingTrust Mortgage Bank Plc has reported a profit after tax of N1.01bn for the year ended 31 December 2025, according to its unaudited financial statements released on the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Wednesday.

The mortgage lender’s profit rose from N854.50m recorded in the previous financial year, reflecting improved earnings and higher operating income during the period under review.

Gross earnings increased to N6.52bn in 2025 from N3.73bn in 2024, driven largely by growth in interest income and other operating income. Interest and similar income stood at N4.49bn, compared with N2.90bn in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Net interest income declined to N766.94m from N1.52bn, reflecting higher interest expenses, while net fee and commission income rose to N186.55m from N102.68m in 2024. Other operating income increased to N1.34bn from N723.02m.

Total operating income grew to N2.80bn from N2.35bn, while profit before tax stood at N1.09bn, up from N911.15m recorded in the prior year. Earnings per share improved to 20.23 kobo from 17.09 kobo.

On the balance sheet, total assets rose to N32.74bn as at 31 December 2025, from N24.05bn in 2024. Loans and advances to customers increased to N17.09bn from N14.02bn, while customer deposits grew to N22.15bn from N15.19bn.

Total liabilities rose to N27.69bn from N18.99bn, while shareholders’ funds remained stable at N5.05bn.
