MBN partners Qoray on electric vehicle production


In a significant move to bolster local innovation and content, Made By Nigerians has announced its sponsorship of Qoray, a pioneering Nigerian company in sustainable mobility.

As part of the partnership, Qoray will attempt to set a world record for the longest drive with an electric-powered vehicle brand-named as Electric Teak, a bold initiative that will highlight the potential of Nigerian innovation on the world stage.

MBN is a platform dedicated to celebrating and promoting Nigerian innovation, creativity, and excellence through strategic partnerships and it made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

“This collaboration underscores MBN’s commitment to positioning Nigeria as a global leader in innovation while tackling key environmental challenges,” the firm stated.

Qoray noted that its flagship product, the Qoray Teak, “is not just an electric vehicle but a revolutionary solution in eco-friendly last-mile transportation. With its cutting-edge design, the Qoray Teak aims to reshape mobility in Nigeria and beyond.”

Quoting the Chief Project Officer at MBN, Chidimma Okoli, the statement stated,  “We are not merely celebrating Nigerian-made solutions; we are championing a movement that redefines global innovation.

“Qoray exemplifies the creativity, ambition, and resilience that MBN seeks to elevate, and together, we’re proving that Nigerian enterprises can redefine industries and set new sustainability standards.”

The statement which further described MBN as a thriving ecosystem of over 4,000 Nigerian entrepreneurs stated that the platform continues to expand its influence by providing key support in brand storytelling, market positioning, and global competitiveness.

Through initiatives like its partnership with Qoray, MBN said it is ensuring that Nigerian entrepreneurs not only participate in the global market but lead transformative change.
