Verticul, partner to equip Africans with AI skills


Verticul, an innovative e-learning platform developed by Unify, one of Africa’s top 50 Edtech startups, has partnered with DecisionSpaak Technologies, a provider of advanced technology solutions, to launch a groundbreaking course on Artificial Intelligence.

According to a statement, Verticul, Unify’s flagship platform, offers affordable courses to equip young Africans with market-ready skills, boosting their employability by five times. With over 1,000 learners, it transforms job-seekers into sought-after talent.

It noted that DecisionSpaak Technologies focuses on advanced tech solutions, product development, and AI-driven decision-making, driving digital transformation and AI adoption in the MEA region.

The course, titled Artificial Intelligence 101: Prompt Engineering for Beginners, is led by DecisionSpaak’s founder and AI product leader, Philip Ade-Akanbi.

It offers a comprehensive introduction to artificial intelligence. Participants will gain insights into the workings of AI systems such as chatbots and large language models .

With a focus on practical application, the course is designed to meet the needs of professionals across various industries, including finance, healthcare, media, and education.

The General Manager of Unify, Samuel Omokanye, said, “AI is the future, and it is essential for African professionals and companies to have access to top-tier AI training.
