2027: Gov Yusuf 2nd Term Victory Is Secure


Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, a former Governor of Kano State and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has vowed that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s second-term victory is a done deal.

Speaking when Governor Yusuf led a delegation to Shekarau to pick up his APC Membership card at Giginyu Ward in Nasarawa Local Government, Kano, he noted that the mouth crowd jubilating at the venue signalled a victory for APC in Kano State.

This was contained in a press release issued by Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor.

Speaking at the event, Governor Yusuf described the former governor of the state, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, as a man of the people and someone who touched the lives of people in the state.

He made mention of his political pedigree and respect from all calibres of people in the state and northern Nigeria.

Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, after he picked the membership card for the APC, stated that unity is key and they will ensure victory for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s second term bid come the 2027 general elections and all other posts of the APC.

Meanwhile, the former senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo was among those who decamped to the APC alongside Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.

Dignitaries flanked the former governor, including the Kano State Speaker of the House of Assembly, Honourable Jibrin Ismail Falgore, APC Ex Officio, Muhammad Jamu, the Kano State APC Chairman, Hon Haruna Umar Doguwa and other party executives in the state.
