Zebra Technologies & TD Africa: Boosting Business in Nigeria


TD Africa, Nigeria’s foremost technology distribution giant, has strengthened its partnership with global tech leader Zebra Technologies through a high-level partner engagement held recently in Lagos.

The event, themed ‘Accelerate Your Business with Zebra,’ brought together key players from Nigeria’s retail, logistics, and manufacturing sectors to explore how edge-enabled, real-time technologies can boost business efficiency and competitiveness.

Speaking during the engagement, Coordinating Managing Director of TD Africa, Chioma Chimere, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to redefining digital transformation across the continent.

“At TD Africa, we are not just delivering devices; we are driving transformation,” she said. “Our partnership with Zebra continues to redefine what is possible in business operations across Africa. We remain committed to equipping our partners with the right tools and insights to win.”

The event spotlighted Zebra’s suite of innovative technologies, including rugged mobility solutions, advanced data capture, RFID, and real-time analytics.

The firm urged business partners to shift from transactional relationships to data-driven, customer-first models.

Sales Director for Africa at Zebra Technologies, Neil Gouveia, described Africa as a critical growth frontier for the company, stressing that the right partnerships were key to unlocking new levels of performance.

“Africa is a growth frontier, and we are fully committed to helping our partners unlock new levels of performance at the edge,” he said. “With the right technologies and local alliances with TD Africa, businesses here can leapfrog limitations and lead in the digital era.”

Other key Zebra representatives in attendance included Channel Lead for Africa, Deveshan Naicker; Channel Manager, West Africa, Samson Ihemekwele; Sales Engineer, Kehinde Adelakun; Territory Manager, Tinashe Taruvinga; and Distribution Manager, Mercy Mogolotsane.

A live demo session allowed attendees to interact with Zebra’s expanding portfolio, ranging from mobile computing devices to visibility solutions.

The event marked a shift in focus from product delivery to full-scale solution enablement, reinforcing TD Africa’s role as a strategic enabler for global tech brands.
