You’re A Leader With Sight And Vision

The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has applauded President Bola Tinubu as a leader with sight and Vision.

Speaking on Friday night at the 2026 National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Akpabio said what is attracting everyone to the party is good governance being provided by Tinubu administration.

Akpabio told the President and party delegates who gathered at the Eagle Square in Abuja: “What is attracting all of us to the APC today is good governance.

“From the time you remove fuel subsidy, up to the time you harmonised the multiple exchange rates, then to your reforms in the educational sector, you brought the poor person in the village to now have the opportunity of getting a loan to have tertiary education.

“You brought about Agricultural revolution. You started the rails. Now people can travel from Lagos all the way to Ibadan. Now people can travel to Ajaokuta.

“I took a ride through the coastal road that we contemplated 50 years ago in the Niger Delta region. May God bless you, bless your work and the wisdom He has given to you.

“In you, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from what you have done transforming Lagos, transforming many states in the Federation, building men across, you are one man that has sight and also has vision and you translate it to Nigeria. Mr. President, Nigerians are yet to see the best of you.

“Despite the difficult economy that you met, you are turning things around. You have brought the tax reforms. You have brought about dignity to Nigeria.

“The recent visit to the United Kingdom, after 37 years showed clearly that Nigeria has now come on the world stage.

“And for members of our party, from about 18 states in the Federation, we now have 32 governors and still growing. By election day, we may have 36 over 36.”

Akpabio who is the Chairman of the National Assembly assured President Tinubu of the continous support and cooperation of the Legislature and assured Nigerians that the current menace of insecurity would soon be a thing of the past.

“And for those of us in the Legislature, Mr President, be assured of our continuous support and cooperation because when the house is in order, when the National Assembly is stable, when everybody is akin to your Renewed Hope Agenda, then indeed Nigeria, definitely, will see progress.

“For those insecurity that you see today, I want to assure you that the bull you see today, the terrorists you see today, with the ingenuity of our President, and the support and prayers of all Nigerians, you shall soon see them no more.

“May God brings stability to Nigeria. May God grants us peace. May God grants peace to the APC family,” Akpabio said.
