Yahaya Congratulates Yilwatda, NWC, Hails Tinubu’s Leadership

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has congratulated Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their emergence at the party’s just-concluded National Convention in Abuja.

Prof. Yilwatda and the NWC members were unanimously adopted through a consensus arrangement and formally affirmed by delegates at the convention, a development Governor Inuwa Yahaya described as a clear demonstration of unity and internal cohesion within the ruling party.

The Governor portrayed the new APC National Chairman as a thoroughbred politician with the right mix of vibrancy, intellect, vision and character required to reposition the party for greater success.

“Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda represents the new face of progressive leadership. He is dynamic, forward-looking, and deeply grounded in the ideals that define our great party.

His election to continue as APC National Chairman reflects the party’s readiness to evolve, reform, and remain responsive to the aspirations of Nigerians,” he said. Governor Inuwa Yahaya noted that the party chairman brings to the role a unique blend of academic excellence, bureaucratic depth and political maturity, further strengthened by his performance during his initial months of stewardship.

He expressed confidence that Yilwatda’s leadership, coupled with his strong grasp of technology and innovation, would inject renewed energy into the party and consolidate its position as Nigeria’s dominant political platform.
