Why Funke Akindele Cut Me Off


Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has stirred social media reactions after revealing details about his strained relationship with colleague and filmmaker, Funke Akindele.

Fabiyi, who spoke during a TikTok live stream alleged that Akindele stopped speaking to him the very day he informed her that he had completed building his house.

The Yoruba actor and producer used the moment to express his disappointment with the entertainment industry, describing it as deceptive, said their friendship dated back many years and maintained that he never offended her.

According to him, people often perceive certain individuals as kind or genuine, but reality may be different.

“Our industry is very terrible. Those whom you think are good people aren’t. Funke Akindele was my friend from way back.

The day I told her that I had completed my house was the last day she ever talked to me, and I didn’t offend her,” he said.
