Whitecrust appoints Ademola Ajibade as new CFO

Whitecrust Investment has appointed Ademola Ajibade as its new Chief Financial Officer, strengthening the firm’s executive leadership team as it accelerates its expansion in digital and retail financial services.

Ajibade, a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in commercial and microfinance banking, is set to oversee treasury management, budgeting, and financial reporting across the group. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a CIBN-certified microfinance expert.

Managing Director Kingsley Eremionkhale expressed confidence in the appointment, noting that Ajibade’s expertise in liquidity management and financial operations will provide the stability required for Whitecrust’s next phase of growth.

“His track record in driving financial performance aligns perfectly with our ambitions to innovate and expand within Nigeria’s evolving financial landscape,” Eremionkhale said in a statement on Tuesday.

The appointment coincides with the promotion of Ruth Olabode to Business Development Manager, reflecting the company’s broader strategy to strengthen leadership, optimise sales strategies, and drive high-value business relationships. Olabode, previously Sales Activation Manager, will now lead both Public Sector Lending and the firm’s newly established Retail Investment Management Unit.

Human Resources Manager Omotola Ajayi said the appointments demonstrate Whitecrust’s commitment to leveraging top-tier talent to support its digital transformation and market growth initiatives.

Whitecrust Investment, a growing player in Nigeria’s financial services sector, is positioning itself to expand its footprint through innovation in mobile and core banking solutions while reinforcing its governance and operational capabilities at the executive level.
