Wamakko, Gov. Aliyu To Receive Lifetime Achievement Awards From New Telegraph Newspaper


Senator representing Sokoto Central Senatorial District, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, on Wednesday, received New Telegraph Newspaper Management led by the Managing Director/Editor-In-Chief, Ayodele Aminu.

This is contained in a press statement issued by Bashir IbrahimMedia, Media Aide to Senator Wamakko.

According to him, the esteemed publication has invited the Senator to its annual awards ceremony and he will be recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Politics.

Alongside this prestigious accolade, His Excellency, Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, will be awarded Best Governor in Economy.

Senator Wamakko expressed his gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to public service and the upliftment of the people.

He also agreed to extend Governor Aliyu’s invitation and pledged to attend the awards ceremony on February 21, 2025.

Also in attendance were Hon. Isa Sadiq Achida, APC Chairman of Sokoto State; Abubarkar Muhammad Yabo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Development Sokoto State, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan, Senior Special Assistant to the Sokoto State Governor; and other distinguished guests.
