Senator representing Sokoto-Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator (DR). Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, handed over 10 Toyota Hilux Motor vehicles to Sokoto State Police Command to boost security operations.

The Senator commended Police efforts in maintaining peace and called for continued efforts in making Sokoto State safe.

A statement issued by DSP Ahmad Rufa’i, Police Public Relations Officer at Sokoto State Command stated that the presentation of the vehicles took place at the premises of the Command Headquarters.

The Commissioner of Police Sokoto Command Cp Ahmed Musa, PSC on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, commemorate the significant occasion of this presentation of motor vehicles for our esteemed Command, facilitated by the Distinguished Senator (DR) Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.

This unwavering support and generosity underscores the critical importance of collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and government leadership in advancing our collective mission of serving and safeguarding the people of Sokoto State.

The provision of these motor vehicles symbolizes more than just a mode of transportation; it represents a tangible investment in the capabilities and morale of our dedicated police officers, enhancing their operational efficiency and response readiness.

The significance of this initiative extends far beyond the motor vehicles themselves; it speaks volumes to the profound impact that strategic partnerships and community support can have on the effectiveness and vitality of our law enforcement efforts.

As we embrace this new year of enhanced mobility and operational capacity, I urge my fellow police officers to embrace these motor vehicles as tools of service excellence.

Let us wield them with pride, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the values of integrity, accountability, and respect for the rule of law.

Let us also leverage this significant investment to forge even stronger bonds with the communities we serve, fostering trust, cooperation, and mutual respect.

The CP extend his sincere appreciation to the Senator for his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to supporting the Force, notably.

May this day mark the beginning of a new chapter of progress, prosperity in this year, and partnership as we march forward in our shared mission of safeguarding the lives and properties of all Sokoto residents.

Distinguished Senator sir, like Olivertwist, we seek for more of this gesture to support us in carrying out our duties effectively.
