Walt Disney Animation Releases ‘Zootopia II’ Teaser Trailer

Disney Animation Studios has released teaser trailer for the animation feature ‘Zootopia II’.

The sequel comes nine years after the first movie which saw Judy Hopp, a tenacious Zootopia police officer work with street smart fox, Nick Wilde to uncover a sinister villain who had been manipulating wild residents of Zootopia against the domesticated ones.

In the teaser trailer, Judy, Nick and Zootopia’s new and mysterious reptilian resident, Gary De’Snake, are dogged by the police across the city, on ground and underwater. It is unclear whether Gary was an ally of our favourite cartoon buddy cop team, but netizens are intrigued.

“I mean, it’s a trailer that doesn’t spoil the plot to the entire movie so that’s actually kinda refreshing,” @WingsaberE3

“This trailer told me nothing about the movie other than I really want to watch it. Lol. Perfect Teaser Trailer!” @dude.dans_

“It looks like they’re not just exploring Zootopia in this movie, but the entire world. Solving a crime that is tied to places in different animal cities around the globe,” @0b100

Written by Jared Bush, and directed by Bush and Byron Howard, Zootopia II is produced by Yvett Merino, and has Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bates returning as the main protagonists Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Other recurring casts include Ke Huy Quan and Shakira, with Fortune Feimster and Quinta Brunson as new cast members.

Distributed by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the animation is set to release November 26, 2025.
