United Nigeria Airlines Appoints Madubuko to Board


United Nigeria Airlines has announced the appointment of Prof. Madubuko Tochukwu Victor as a director on its board.

The appointment, which was approved at the airline’s Extraordinary General Meeting held on 30 December 2025, underscores its commitment to strengthening corporate governance, enhancing strategic leadership, and supporting its expansion programme.

According to a statement signed by the airline, Madubuko is a seasoned global executive with over 20 years of experience spanning entrepreneurship, international business, education, and public service.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of Chilanna Holdings LLC in Miami, Chairman of The Moonshine Contractors Limited, and Managing Partner of CareerNation, a United States-based human capital consulting firm with operations across multiple states.

He holds a master’s degree in management from The New School and a bachelor’s degree in international law from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. He is also certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional and a Registered Organisation Development Consultant, bringing significant international and cross-cultural expertise to the Board.

Commenting on the appointment, the airline stated, “In our continued efforts to strengthen our corporate governance structure and broaden the membership of our Board in line with our strategic expansion programme, we are pleased to welcome Prof. Madubuko to the Board of United Nigeria Airlines.

His breadth of experience, leadership depth, and proven track record in driving transformation make him a valuable addition to the UNA leadership.”

Accepting the appointment, Madubuko said, “I am deeply honoured to join the Board of United Nigeria Airlines.

 I look forward to working collaboratively with the Board and Management to contribute to the airline’s continued growth, operational excellence, and strategic vision.”

The management of United Nigeria Airlines said the appointment aligns with its long-term vision of building a strong leadership team capable of driving sustainable growth and positioning the airline for greater competitiveness in the aviation sector.
