The Federal Government yesterday ordered urgent repairs on the damaged deck of the Beninbound carriageway on the Shagamu–Benin Bridge, the border of Edo and Ondo states. The Minister of Works Dave Umahi said in a statement the bridge having a double carriageway got visibly punctured at the Benin bound of the carriageway within one span of the five spans of the bridge.
