Ultimate Health HMO strengthens board with female directors


Ultimate Health Management Services has appointed two accomplished professionals, Tosin Adefeko and Bolajoko Abiola-Odunowo, as directors on its board.

The company stated that the move aligns with global corporate governance best practices and underscores its commitment to gender inclusivity.

According to a statement, the appointment also reinforces Ultimate Health HMO’s strategy to enhance the board’s capacity for greater efficiency, according to a statement signed on Monday by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Otunba Lekan Ewenla.

Adefeko, a corporate executive and entrepreneur, brings over 25 years of expertise spanning financial services, media, and marketing communications.

She is the founder and CEO of AT3 Resources, a brand growth agency known for creating high-impact communication strategies.

Adefeko was appointed to the 2024 jury of the International Public Relations Association.

She is also a passionate advocate for gender inclusion and has played a key role in empowering women in business leadership.

Abiola-Odunowo, an accomplished business executive, has a diverse career spanning over 30 years in finance, law, and logistics.

She brings extensive experience in treasury management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, with expertise in oil and gas, real estate, and environmental law.

It further noted that Abiola-Odunowo’s strategic leadership has significantly shaped Nigeria’s logistics sector, and her presence on the board is expected to drive innovative growth strategies.

Ewenla emphasised that their appointments reinforce the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the organised private sector, the informal sector, and professional associations.

He also highlighted the significance of expanding health insurance coverage, stating that recent legislation mandates all Nigerians and legal residents to enrol in a health insurance programme.

“The appointment of Adefeko and Abiola-Odunowo demonstrates our dedication to gender inclusion and board excellence. Their expertise will be instrumental in positioning Ultimate Health HMO as a leading force in Nigeria’s evolving healthcare sector,” Ewenla said.
