Ubi Franklin Canvasses Support For Tinubu


Popular Nigerian music executive, Ubi Franklin has taken to his social media page to openly canvass for vote for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the anticipated 2027 Presidential election.

Speaking in a post shared via his official page, Franklin educated Nigerians that it is every citizen’s constitutional right to support the candidates of their choice and he is throwing his weight behind President Tinubu.

Taking to his verified X account, the music executive said he is in support of President Tinubu running for presidency in the forthcoming general elections.

Also, Franklin vowed to throw his cap in the ring for a number of Cross River State senatorial candidates, such as Senator Prince Bassey Otu for Governor, Senator Prof. Benedict Ayade for the Cross River Northern Senatorial District, and Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong for the Cross River Southern Senatorial District.

Speaking further, he revealed that he will as well as support Senator Eteng Jones Williams.

He wrote, “Dear friends, it’s your constitutional right to support whoever you choose. I’m supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President and Senator Prince Bassey Otu for Governor of Cross River State.

“Senator Prof Benedict Ayade for Cross River Northern Senatorial District. Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong for Cross River southern senatorial district. Senator Eteng jones Williams.”

New Telegraph recalls that Franklin has joined the City Boy Movement, a political campaign led by Seyi Tinubu, the son of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The movement seeks to advance Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria’s future and mobilize support for his presidential campaign ahead of the 2027 elections.
