The rumour, which surfaced earlier in the day, originated from an Instagram blog that claimed the singer and his family narrowly escaped a fire incident.

Reacting to the blog post, Adewale urged content publishers to prioritise verification before dissemination, stressing that her family remains safe.

She criticised the platform behind the report, questioning its editorial standards and warning against the spread of false information, while thanking friends and supporters for their concern and messages.

“Amen, Amen, and Amen IJN. So I Pray For My Family, Friends, and Colleagues. Eseun Modupe o. Thanks for checking on us.

“Thanks for your calls and messages. I truly appreciate. We shall not cry nor mourn over our children.

“No evil shall befall any of us. “It is well with us all, IJN,” she wrote.
