Toke Makinwa Showcases Baby Bump

Media personality Toke Makinwa has announced that she is expecting her first child, unveiling her baby bump in a video shared on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old, who has openly discussed her desire for motherhood and possible options such as surrogacy, described the pregnancy as the most significant chapter of her life.

In an emotional Instagram post, she wrote, “The biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever! 2025. What a difference a year can make.

“Dear God, you did this one, you have completely changed my life. You opened this door that nobody can shut.”

Reflecting on her years of waiting, Makinwa admitted there were moments she felt forgotten, but now believes the delay prepared her for this blessing.

“I’ve worn so many hats over the years but this one trumps it all. I’m so humbled to have been chosen… You get to see me as a mother, I get to raise my own. Na me be this????? Hallelujah!”

Addressing her unborn child, she added, “My bug, I cannot wait to meet you. You’ve made me the happiest person on earth… the answer to my prayers. My heart is over the moon!”

Recall that in a past lighthearted video with Afrobeats star Falz, Makinwa had joked about choosing surrogacy to avoid “ruining her shape.”
