Sokoto Govt Distributes Cattle To Youth Groups 


The Sokoto State Ministry of Youth and Sports, under the leadership of  Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has distributed cattle to male and female youth groups from all 23 Local Government Areas to mark the Sallah festivities.

Speaking during the distribution, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Hon. Kamaludden Abubakar Lemi, said the gesture is part of the state government’s effort to improve the welfare of young people and support them at all times.

A statement issued by Aminu Sani, PRO of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, said Governor Aliyu continues to show care for the state’s youth by providing support and programs aimed at developing their lives and future.

Hon. Lemi commended the governor for the gesture, describing him as a leader committed to the progress of youth and the wider community.

Similarly, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Hadiza Galadima, thanked the governor for creating employment opportunities and supporting youth in various fields to help them become responsible and productive citizens.

The youth groups expressed gratitude for the support and pledged continued backing for the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto to advance progress and prosperity across the state.

The distribution ceremony was attended by Comrade Abdurrahman Umar Aliyu, Director of Youth Affairs, Aminu S. Fada Sifawa, Staff Officer, and Dan Tuni Shagari, Director of Planning and Strategy.

Others were Lawali Sani, Director of Finance, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Akilu Adamu, Director of Finance, NYSC and some other senior directors of the Sokoto State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
