‘Snow White’ Premieres In Lagos With Vibrant African-inspired Twist


Lagos State has hosted African-Inspired Ball Premiere of Disney’s Snow White at Filmhouse Palms Mall, Lekki

The vibrant event brought together cultural influencers and film enthusiasts to celebrate the reimagining of the classic tale with a Nigerian twist.

The premiere held on Friday, March 21, 2025 featured an “African Glamour” fashion theme at the red carpet, and a curated selection of food and drinks reflecting the whimsical theme of the movie.

Beyond the spectacle, the event highlighted the significance of storytelling in culture and entertainment.With a focus on African influence, the premiere which attracted some of Nigeria’s actors, thespians and personalities in the entertainment industry, offered a unique interpretation of Snow White, incorporating elements of local heritage and style.

Among other interesting twists, the Friday evening had immersive experiences and special moments which engaged attendees.
