S’East Group Hails App’s Rise, Backs Ugochinyere’s Leadership

The South East Good Governance Advocates (SEGGA) has congratulated the Action Peoples Party (APP) on what it described as its steady emergence as a credible and dependable political platform for Nigerians seeking progressive change.

In a statement jointly signed by its National Coordinator, Amadi Patrick, and Secretary, Promise Ezeocha, SEGGA noted the need for strong and viable political alternatives in a country as vast and diverse as Nigeria.

According to the group, such alternatives are essential to deepen democracy, strengthen political culture, and ensure effective delivery of democratic dividends to citizens.

The group particularly commended the leadership qualities of Ikenga Ugochinyere, describing his role in shaping the APP as a demonstration of courage, foresight, and commitment to principled politics. SEGGA noted that his track record in advocacy and representation positions him as a rallying point for Nigerians seeking reform and inclusive governance.

While applauding the party’s progress, SEGGA cautioned members and stakeholders within the APP against actions capable of creating internal divisions, warning that such tendencies have weakened older political platforms.
