Sanwo-olu Preaches Love, Compassion, Hope


Governor of Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has congratulated Nigerians, especially Christians, on the celebration of Easter. Sanwo-Olu spoke during an interview at Lagos House, Marina, where he urged residents to embrace love, unity, and sacrifice in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Governor commended Christian faithful for their devotion during the Lenten season and encouraged them to continue in the values of spirituality, charity, and peaceful coexistence.

He noted that the Lenten season is a period of reflection, prayer, and sacrifice, and urged residents to apply the lessons learned in their daily lives.

He also described Easter as a season of gratitude, love, and happiness, calling on Nigerians to care for one another and promote unity despite religious differences. Sanwo-Olu advised residents to celebrate responsibly and maintain a safe and secure environment across the state during the festive period.
