Sanwo-Olu Congratulates Oba Elegushi At 50


The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III), on his 50th birthday celebration.

He rejoiced with Oba Elegushi for the golden jubilee birthday celebration, describing the monarch as a passionate and visionary leader whose reign has brought peace, growth and development to his domain.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, said Oba Elegushi has distinguished himself in community service as a committed traditional ruler.

He said: “On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Lagos State, I celebrate the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III) on his 50th birthday celebration.

“Oba Elegushi has dedicated his youthful and adult life to the service of the people and his community, particularly the traditional institution in Ikate-Elegushi and Lagos State.

“He is a visionary and vibrant traditional ruler who has contributed to the growth and development of his domain in almost two decades of his reign as the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom.

“As Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi celebrates his 50th birthday, I pray that he will witness many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers for the continuous service to humanity.

“God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding for a continuous reign of peace, prosperity and love in Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom.”
