Skyway Aviation Handling Company reported a profit after tax of N8.14bn for the half year ended June 30, 2025, representing a 155.4 per cent increase from N3.19bn in the corresponding period of 2024.
The company’s unaudited financial statements, that was recently filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited, showed that its revenue for the period rose by 73.9 per cent to N21.06bn from N12.11bn in the same period last year.
Also, direct costs increased by 29.3 per cent to N6.59bn from N5.10bn in H1 2024, resulting in a gross profit of N14.47bn compared to N7.01bn in the corresponding period of 2024.
Other operating income stood at N217.32m in the review period, up from N129.56m a year earlier. Administrative expenses rose to N4.66bn from N3.37bn in H1 2024.
Profit from operations was N10.03bn, compared to N3.77bn in the same period last year. Finance income declined to N65.94m from N217.26m, while finance expenses fell to N132.88m from N154.13m.
In the period under review, profit before tax was N9.96bn, up from N3.83bn in H1 2024, an increase of 160 per cent. The company paid N1.82bn in taxes during the period, compared to N647.02m a year earlier.
Total comprehensive income for the half year was N7.90bn, compared to N4.26bn in the same period last year. Basic and diluted earnings per share were 601 kobo, up from 235 kobo in H1 2024.
As at 30 June 2025, SAHCO’s total assets stood at N52.97bn, compared to N37.96bn in June 2024 and N41.78bn at the end of December 2024.
