Royal Electronics, an electronics and home appliances brand under SIMS Nigeria Ltd, has unveiled actors Kanayo O. Kanayo and Dr Carolyna Hutchings as its brand ambassadors.
According to a statement, Royal Electronics unveiled the ambassadors because their personas reflect the brand’s values of “quality, reliability, innovation, and Nigerian pride.”
Royal Electronics noted that Kanayo brings gravitas and authenticity to the brand. It added that the Nollywood legend’s career “marked by excellence and trust mirrors Royal’s legacy of durable, high-performance electronics built for Nigerian homes.”
It added that Kanayo’s endorsement reinforces the brand’s image as one that stands the test of time, dependable, respected, and rooted in value. Also, the brand noted that it adopted the actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Hutchings for embodying “the spirit of the modern, aspirational consumer.”
According to the brand, Hutchings is the ideal voice to connect with Royal’s younger, style-conscious audience. It added that her influence in entertainment and lifestyle positions her to champion Royal’s “evolving portfolio of sleek, user-friendly appliances that elevate everyday living.”
Regarding the new partnerships, Chief Marketing Officer of SIMS Nigeria Ltd, Fabian Uzor, said, “At Royal, we are excited to welcome two exceptional personalities into our family. Their values, stories, and influence resonate deeply with the kind of brand we are building, one that reflects Nigerian excellence, inspires trust, and delivers real value to real people.”
The unveiling of these ambassadors forms part of Royal’s broader strategy to deepen brand affinity across generations and demographics.
The brand affirmed that as it scales up its outreach through initiatives like Face of Royal 2025, regional activations, and customer-focused programs, the new ambassadors will serve as relatable symbols of what it means to “Choose Royal.”
Royal Electronics noted that with Kanayo and Hutchings on board, it is expanding its consumer base and telling a richer, more human story of Nigerian innovation, resilience, and pride.
