Rotary International has appointed Nigerian media executive and communications strategist, Mr Ehi Braimah, as one of five new Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinators for the 2025–2026 Rotary year in Africa’s Region 27.
Braimah, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Naija Times and Lagos Post, will support Rotary’s public image initiatives across nine districts in Anglophone West Africa and Egypt as part of the global organisation’s effort to strengthen its presence and visibility in the region.
The announcement was contained in a Tuesday statement issued by the current Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Districts 9111, 9112, and 9126, Michael James.
The Rotary Public Image Coordinator (2023–2026), Tamunoibim Semenitari, congratulated the incoming officers and invited them to attend the regional team learning seminar in Accra, Ghana.
A past president of the Rotary Club of Lagos (2018–2019), Braimah currently serves as assistant governor in District 9112 and Chair of the District Public Image Committee (2024–2025).
He previously served as district secretary in 2021–2022 and has led various other district-level committees focused on public image, strategy, and engagement.
Beyond Rotary, Braimah is the Managing Director and CEO of Neo Media & Marketing, a public relations and marketing firm.
He also serves as Deputy National President of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce and is a recognised public affairs analyst. In 2024, he received the Chancellor’s Alumni Award from the University of Roehampton, London.
Public image coordinators play a key role in how Rotary is perceived, managing brand identity, media relations, digital content, and community engagement. They help train members on brand standards and oversee communication strategies to strengthen Rotary’s outreach and impact.
Africa Zone 22, which encompasses Region 27, is one of Rotary International’s 34 global zones and is subdivided into Regions 26, 27, and 28.
