Rex Insurance Launches Lagos Retail Campaign


Rex Insurance has launched its retail campaign in Lagos as it took to the streets of Yaba in a move aimed at demystifying insurance and promoting policy adoption among everyday Nigerians.

In a statement on Monday, the campaign titled ‘Retail Street Storm’ saw representatives from the Retail Business Department of Rex Insurance, in collaboration with the Brands Team, engage directly with residents, market vendors, and commuters to deliver practical education on the value of insurance and Rex’s flexible and affordable products.

The Retail Street Storm is a strategic initiative designed to raise awareness about insurance, promote policy adoption and strengthen the presence of Rex Insurance within the community.

According to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Rex Insurance, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu, the Retail Street Storm is an initiative aimed at simplifying insurance to make it more accessible to everyday Nigerians.

“Insurance is not just for big businesses or the elite; it is for everyone. The Retail Street Storm is part of our mission to take insurance to the streets. We are meeting people where they are: in the markets, on the roads, and in their communities to show them that insurance is simple, affordable, and essential. Our retail business is a core part of what we do, and through this initiative, we are showing our commitment to reaching everyday Nigerians and making insurance accessible to all,” said Nwachukwu.

The campaign kicked off in Yaba, with activities extending to the surrounding areas, including Sabo and Jibowu. The team engaged directly with people in busy streets, markets, and bus stops across the area. People in the area responded positively to the outreach. recognising the company’s efforts to simplify insurance and make it more accessible and relevant to everyday life.

The Retail Street Storm will continue in other major cities, with Ibadan, Port Harcourt, and Abuja scheduled in the coming weeks.

Rex Insurance offers insurance services across motor, fire, agriculture, marine, aviation, energy and personal insurance.
