Qore recognises Moniepoint as best fintech

Moniepoint has been named the “Overall Best Fintech in Digital Banking Solution Delivery” in the OFI Category at the NEXUS 2024 awards, organised by Qore.

The recognition, disclosed in a statement on Wednesday, underscores the company’s contributions to transforming digital banking services and promoting financial inclusion across Nigeria and Africa.

The award was presented during the second edition of the NEXUS customer experience event, held in Lagos recently.

The event celebrates financial institutions excelling in customer service, technological innovation, and sector impact.

It also recognised Moniepoint for its role in streamlining digital payment processes, enhancing access to financial services, and empowering businesses with essential tools to drive growth and economic stability.

Qore, one of the providers of fintech infrastructure and banking-as-a-service in Africa, organised the NEXUS awards to celebrate those making transformative strides in the financial sector.

The company said Moniepoint’s award highlighted its significant impact on reshaping financial access across Nigeria and Africa, particularly through solutions tailored to help the underserved and informal sectors seamlessly integrate into the financial ecosystem.

Moniepoint’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Didi Uwemakpan, expressed the company’s pride in receiving the award, calling it a “strong validation” of its efforts.

“Being named the Overall Best Fintech in Digital Banking Solution Delivery at the NEXUS Awards is a strong validation of the hard work that our Dreamakers put into powering the dreams of the millions of businesses and customers who have come to love and trust our products.

“Our success is rooted in listening to our users and continuously innovating to meet their evolving needs. This recognition motivates us to push even further in making digital banking more efficient and accessible for everyone,” Uwemakpan said.
