While congratulating his excellency, Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago and Muslim faithful, Yohanna who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese said there is hope that the challenges faced in the state will soon be over.

In his Sallah message made available to Journalists on Wednesday, the CAN Chairman urged the people of the state to use the period for sober reflection and ask for God’s mercies as the nation prepares for the General Elections.

According to him, “I want to urge us all to have hope in God and not give up on issues bedevilling the State.

“I urge every one of us including the government to show love by reaching out to the downtrodden, especially those in the special homes like orphanages and old people’s homes, various IDP camps, hospitals and even Correctional centres.”

He further implored all to love their neighbours irrespective of tribe and religion.

“Let us all be agents of peaceful coexistence, united on all fronts and reach out to those in dire need,” he said.
