Portable Reveals Reason For ‘Beef’ With Olamide

Controversial singer , Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has opened up on his ongoing feud with ace rapper and music executive Olamide.

According to Portable, his issue with Olamide dates back to the rapper’s perceived lack of support during his rise to fame. He explained that while Olamide gave him a verse on the remix of his 2021 hit song, “Zazu,” he felt the rapper could have done more to assist him in his early career.

In an interview on EchoRoom, the ‘Zazu’ hitmaker, Portable,  shared his thoughts on why he appreciates British rapper Skepta more than Nigerian rapper Olamide.

Portable revealed that while Olamide helped him with a verse on the remix of his 2021 hit song “Zazu,” he felt the rapper could have done more, particularly in terms of providing management support.

He said, “I can’t drag Skepta because he held my hand. Olamide didn’t hold my hand; he gave me a verse on ‘Zazu’ and left me without management. He can’t sign me now because I’m now a global superstar.”

Portable also previously accused Olamide of “snatching” his producer, dancer, and promoter, further fueling the tension between the two. However, the rapper has not yet addressed these allegations.
