Portable Reveals His Instagram Account Was Created For ‘YahooYahoo’


Controversial Nigerian musician, Portable, has said he initially created his Instagram page to scam people.

The singer made the disclosure while speaking about the secret behind the name ‘Elizabeth Joyce’ on his Instagram page.

Speaking with content creator, Egungun of Lagos during a car ride, Portable was questioned about the name ‘Elizabeth Joyce’, which appears on his Instagram profile.

In response, Portable disclosed that he created the account while attempting to learn Yahoo Yahoo (internet fraud) before he became famous.

Narrating how his dream of becoming a ‘Yahoo boy’ was halted, he said, “To be honest with you, I created an Instagram account when I wanted to learn Yahoo Yahoo (internet fraud).

“That was why I initially opened the account, but it didn’t work out. I later went back to edit the account, and removed the foreigner’s picture from it when I heard that people were looking for me online because I had become successful. Na working account.”

In December 2021, Portable rose to fame with his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh’. Since then, he has remained in the public eye for controversial reasons.
