Popular Event Planner Nosa Jay-Obadigie Launches Maiden Book ‘Behind The Veil’

Acclaimed Nigerian event planner and creative powerhouse, Coach Nosa Jay-Obadigie, has officially unveiled her maiden book ‘Behind The Veil’, which is an unfiltered glimpse into the realities of the events industry.

The book launched in Benin City, Edo State, brought together family, friends, colleagues, and admirers who came to celebrate a woman whose work has defined a decade of excellence in the Nigerian event planning industry.

The book is said to offer a rare and behind-the-scenes look into the life of a seasoned event planner. Far from the polished photos and glamorous décor often seen on social media, Nosa brings readers into the grit, hustle, and complex decision-making that define real event execution.

Drawing from her personal experiences and professional journey, the book is both a reflection and a roadmap for aspiring planners looking to build a resilient and rewarding career.

In her address at the launch, Coach Nosa revealed that the book was four years in the making. “I like to influence people, so that was my major push,” she said. “Thank you all so much, my family members, my friends, my colleagues. Everybody had a part to play in this beautiful project.”

Guests at the book launch spoke glowing and lauded the author’s honesty, influence, and commitment to grooming the next generation of event professionals.

On his part, Benson Raymond remarked, “Coach Nosa is an enigma. She is a pacesetter. What she’s doing is fantastic and truly inspiring. She’s contributing to the youth and to the event decor and planning business in Nigeria. I can’t wait to read it.”

Commenting on the author, Adebola Omoniyi said, “She’s not just pouring into herself but she is giving to the public and also replicating herself in others, and I pray she continues to sustain that.”

With nearly a decade of experience, Coach Nosa is known not only for organising top-tier events but also for mentoring planners around the world. Her work as a facilitator and consultant has earned her several national and regional accolades. Her new book is expected to become a go-to guide for both new and established players in the industry. ‘Behind The Veil’ is now available in print and digital formats across leading bookstores and online platforms.
