Plus Incubation Hub has launched the Plus Factor Grant Programme to empower high-potential entrepreneurs across Africa with funding and business support.
The organisation said the merit-based initiative would provide non-dilutive grant funding, market access support and innovation resources to founders building scalable, market-relevant businesses.
According to a statement, the programme targets idea-stage, early-stage and growth-stage entrepreneurs facing barriers such as limited access to finance, weak market linkages and insufficient innovation support.
The initiative is open to entrepreneurs across industries and is built on principles of transparency, fairness and measurable impact.
The Programme Lead, Eunice Alabi, said the scheme would go beyond funding to provide structured support that drives sustainability.
She said, “The Plus Factor Grant Programme is not just about funding; it is about backing entrepreneurs with the clarity, readiness, and support required to build sustainable businesses. We are intentionally combining finance, innovation, and market access to create real, measurable impact.”
Alabi noted that the initiative is looking for entrepreneurs with clarity, courage, and commitment – founders who are “ready to turn potential into performance”.
The organisation stated that the programme is open to entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey, adding that applicants must be founders or co-founders of a business or startup, have an operational business or validated idea, demonstrate commitment to growth and scalability, and be available to participate fully in all programme activities.
It added that applicants must also submit complete applications before the deadline.
Plus, Incubation Hub disclosed that candidates would undergo a three-stage evaluation process comprising eligibility and alignment screening, business, market and innovation assessment, and a final pitch and panel evaluation.
Winners will receive grant funding of N1m for the first position, N500,000 for the second position, and N250,000 for the third position. The fourth and fifth positions will receive N150,000 and N100,000, respectively.
Beyond funding, selected beneficiaries will receive business mentorship, pitch coaching, market access and visibility opportunities, innovation and growth readiness support, as well as investment readiness training.
The application portal has opened and will close on 15 March 2026. The programme will run for eight weeks.
Entrepreneurs are expected to apply through the official portal. Plus Incubation Hub described itself as a business development and entrepreneurship support organisation committed to enabling startups and MSMEs across Africa through funding readiness, incubation, training and market access initiatives.
School of Grant Success, a partner institution, said it continues to train and support businesses and organisations to become investment-ready through proposal writing, pitch deck preparation, governance, grant writing and fundraising.
