Pepsodent has intensified efforts to improve oral health outcomes in Nigeria by taking its awareness campaign to 51 schools across 17 states, reaching thousands of children with practical lessons on healthy oral hygiene habits.
The initiative, part of activities marking World Oral Health Day 2026, was executed simultaneously in major cities including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu, and Benin City.
Through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and engagement activities, pupils were taught the importance of brushing twice daily, reducing sugar intake, and maintaining regular dental check-ups.
The campaign underscores the growing recognition that early education is critical to preventing oral diseases, which remain a significant public health concern.
