The All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in the 2027 elections in Oyo State, Prince Kunle Musediq Adelakun Eruobodo, has called on residents of the State to take proactive steps in securing their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) well.

In a statement issued on Friday, the aspirant, who is the leader of Agbekoya and a grassroots mobilizer, noted that the power to determine the future of the state lies with its citizens.

He called for renewed interest in the democratic process, stressing that they represent a significant portion of the population and hold the potential to shape electoral outcomes.

He encouraged them to see obtaining a PVC as the first step toward securing their future.

Eruobodo also appealed to community leaders, religious bodies, market associations, and civil society organisations across the state to intensify voter education efforts. He urged them to support awareness campaigns and assist individuals who may encounter difficulties during registration.

He reassured residents that the PVC registration process is straightforward when undertaken early and advised citizens to rely on official sources for accurate information regarding schedules and requirements. He further reminded voters to safeguard their cards, noting that PVCs remain valid for multiple election cycles.

Concluding his remarks, Adelakun reiterated that the strength of democracy depends on active citizen participation, while encouraging residents of Oyo State to view the 2027 general elections as an opportunity to make informed choices that will shape the state’s future.

“The journey to 2027 begins now. Let us prepare, participate, and ensure that every voice counts”, he stressed.
