Oyebamiji Salutes Osun APC Elders’ Council Chair, Akinwumi On 89th Birthday


The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has felicitated the Chairman, Osun Elders’ Forum popularly called “Igbimo Agba”, Engr Sola Akinwumi, on the occasion of his birthday.

Oyebamiji rejoiced with the celebrant and his family described him as a ” political living legend of our time”

AMBO, in a congratulatory message personally signed and made available to journalists, extolled Pa. Akinwumi’s rare virtues and unique characteristics that made him firm as a rallying point.

Oyebamiji recalled the outstanding performance of Engr Akinwumi as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) under the leadership of the erstwhile Governor Abdul-Kareem Adebisi Akande.

He prayed to God to grant the political juggernaut longevity of life to witness and celebrate more prosperous years on the planet earth.

“On behalf of my family, I warmly celebrate our leader and father, the former SSG and current Chairman of “Igbimo Agba” – our great party’s elders caucus. No doubt, Pa. Akinwumi is known for rarity as exemplified in his leadership qualities and compelling track record, especially while serving as Secretary to the State Government.

“As a thoroughbred professional cum politician, Engr Akinwumi’s valuable contributions to the growth and development of our state are clear testaments to his rarity.

“We are proud to have him as our leader, mentor and father figure, and we pray that mighty Allah continue to imbue him with more strength, enable him to grow and grant him good health to celebrate more meaningful and impactful years. Congratulations, Dad”, Oyebamiji rejoiced.
