Orji Kalu Celebrates President Tinubu At 74

Former Abia State Governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader whose courage and commitment continue to shape Nigeria’s progress.

Kalu, who is the lawmaker representing Abia North Senatorial District, in a statement released on Saturday, extolled Tinubu’s enduring contributions to national development, noting that his leadership has remained pivotal in navigating the country through critical economic and political reforms.

He praised the President’s resilience and statesmanship, which he said have earned him respect across political divides, highlighting Tinubu’s role in strengthening democratic institutions and fostering unity in a diverse nation like Nigeria.

He commended the President’s bold policy decisions, emphasising that they are laying the foundation for long-term economic stability and growth.

Reflecting on their long-standing relationship dating back to their days as governors in the “Class of ’99,” Kalu described Tinubu as a dependable partner in the pursuit of national progress and good governance. Their political journey, he noted, has been marked by mutual respect and a shared vision for a better Nigeria.

The senator further lauded Tinubu’s commitment to economic reforms, including efforts aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s fiscal structure and attracting investment, stressing that such initiatives, though challenging, are necessary for sustainable development.

“As you mark this remarkable milestone, I celebrate your unwavering dedication to the service of our great nation. Your leadership continues to inspire hope for a prosperous Nigeria,” Kalu said.

He prayed for the President’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength to steer the affairs of the nation, expressing confidence that Tinubu’s administration will leave a lasting legacy of transformation and national renewal.
