Onuachu Builds $450,000 Health Centre In Home Town


Super Eagles and Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu is currently building an ultra-modern health centre in his hometown, Amakohia, Owerri West Local Government Area, Imo State.

New Telegraph gathered that the health centre is valued at approximately $450,000.

Onuachu, who initiated the project during a recent visit to Nigeria, said he is building the facility to address longstanding healthcare gaps in his hometown, as access to healthcare there has been minimal.

According to him, once completed, the centre will include consultation rooms, a fully equipped laboratory, a pharmacy and basic emergency care units.

He added that plans are also in place to recruit qualified medical personnel to ensure sustainable operations.

The project is currently in its early construction phase. Residents and supporters have praised the initiative, describing it as a transformative development for grassroots healthcare in Imo State.

Beyond his record as a prolific striker, Onuachu has built a growing reputation as a socially conscious figure committed to corporate social responsibility.
