Onigbongbo LCDA Chairman Boosts Staff Welfare & Security


The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Moyosore Adebanjo, has declared free meals for staff of the council. Adebanjo made this known during the commissioning of the newly renovated staff canteen at the council secretariat.

He said in a statement on Tuesday that the commissioning marked another step towards improving the well-being and productivity of council staff. According to him, the approved free meals will be provided for the next two days, commencing immediately after the commissioning of the canteen.

Staff members expressed appreciation to the chairman for the gesture, describing it as a thoughtful intervention aimed at boosting morale.

Meanwhile, Adebanjo also unveiled the uniform of the Onigbongbo LCDA Security Marshal as part of efforts to strengthen community safety and the local security architecture within the council area.

He emphasised that the newly unveiled uniform represents discipline, responsibility and renewed dedication to safeguarding lives and property.

The chairman noted that the initiative aligns with his administration’s broader agenda of community-centred security.

According to him, the Security Marshal is an important partner in ensuring a safer Onigbongbo. “We have just unveiled the uniform of the Onigbongbo LCDA Security Marshal in order to strengthen community safety and local security architecture within the council area.

“It is important to note that the newly unveiled uniform represents discipline, responsibility and renewed dedication to safeguarding lives and property. Very key also is the fact that the initiative aligns with my administration’s broader agenda of community-centred security.

“The Security Marshal is an important partner in our quest to ensure a safer Onigbongbo,” he said.
