Omidiran Celebrates Tinubu At 74, Says FCC Reforms Align With RHA


The Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon. Hulayat Abiola Omidiran, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader committed to national unity, equity, and democratic consolidation.

In a goodwill message issued in Abuja, through the spokesperson of the Commission, Ademola Lawrence, Omidiran said the President’s leadership continues to inspire confidence among Nigerians across all regions, noting that his Renewed Hope Agenda is shaping key institutional reforms across government agencies.

She stated that ongoing reforms within the FCC are deliberately designed to align with the President’s vision of a more inclusive, transparent, and equitable Nigeria. According to her, the Commission is being repositioned through institutional strengthening, improved monitoring mechanisms, and enhanced compliance frameworks to ensure full implementation of the federal character principle.

“On behalf of the management, Honourable Commissioners, and staff of the Federal Character Commission, I warmly congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 74th birthday. Your bold leadership and Renewed Hope Agenda continue to inspire our reforms as we work to deepen fairness, equity, and national unity in public service,” she said.

Omidiran highlighted key initiatives of the 5th Commission, including digital transformation, stricter enforcement of compliance by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), and increased stakeholder engagement. She noted that these measures are aimed at aligning the Commission’s operations with global best practices while reflecting the aspirations of the current administration.

She also commended the President’s commitment to ensuring fair representation of all segments of the country in governance, stressing that inclusive policies remain vital to strengthening national integration, trust, and stability.

“As an institution mandated to uphold the federal character principle, we are committed to reforms that reinforce equity and reflect the vision of Mr President for a united and prosperous Nigeria. The Commission will continue to ensure that no region or group is left behind,” she added.

The FCC boss further prayed for good health, wisdom, and continued success for the President as he leads the country toward greater prosperity.
